DONYSA Unveils AFTER HOURS, a Cinematic Exploration of Streetwear, Nightlife and Urban Observation
New York, NY, USA — August 28, 2026 — DONYSA has revealed the creative direction behind AFTER HOURS, an upcoming collection and campaign exploring the relationship between elevated streetwear, nightlife and modern city culture.
The project extends the independent fashion label's philosophy of creating understated, versatile garments into a visual world centered on movement, observation and life after dark.
AFTER HOURS is defined by a distinctive surveillance-inspired aesthetic. Drawing from security cameras, grainy nighttime footage and the imperfect nature of urban observation, the campaign moves away from overly polished fashion imagery in favor of something more cinematic and immediate. Subjects appear within corridors, restaurants, city streets and late-night environments as though they have been captured rather than deliberately posed. The clothing exists inside the moment instead of being separated from it.
For DONYSA, the creative direction reflects a larger idea: clothing should not be limited by a destination or dress code. The brand is developing pieces intended to transition naturally between different parts of a person's day — from casual settings and everyday errands to dinner, lounges and late-night social environments.
"We want to create pieces you don't have to think twice about wearing," Gomez said. "Something that works with jeans or trousers and feels just as natural at dinner, in a lounge, or out late at night. The goal is simple: wherever you're going, it should still feel right."
That philosophy is also represented by DONYSA's forthcoming Foundation Tee, a heavyweight piece designed around fit, proportion and restrained branding. Constructed in 400 GSM heavyweight fabric with an oversized boxy silhouette, the Foundation Tee is designed to carry enough presence to stand on its own while remaining adaptable enough to work across different styles and settings.
Rather than treating the piece simply as another graphic T-shirt, DONYSA sees Foundation as an introduction to the design language the brand intends to build upon: substantial construction, intentional silhouettes and clothing that does not depend on excessive branding to make an impression.
The Foundation Tee leads into AFTER HOURS, where that philosophy expands beyond a single garment and into a larger collection and creative world. While the complete AFTER HOURS lineup remains under wraps, the collection will continue DONYSA's focus on elevated pieces built around versatility, fit and restraint.
DONYSA also takes a deliberate approach to releases, favoring limited quantities and focused collections over constant product turnover. The approach allows each release to maintain its own identity while supporting the brand's emphasis on design intended to remain relevant beyond a single season.
For Gomez, AFTER HOURS represents more than the presentation of a new collection. It begins to establish the visual environment surrounding DONYSA. The Foundation Tee introduces the product philosophy. AFTER HOURS expands that philosophy into culture, environment and storytelling. Together, they represent the direction DONYSA intends to continue developing: elevated streetwear designed without a single destination in mind.
Additional details regarding the Foundation Tee and AFTER HOURS collection, including release dates and pricing, will be announced through DONYSA's official website and social media channels.
