From Four Decades in the Trades to Founder: The Personal Story Behind Xedition77 and Its New Men's Lifestyle Brand
Gloucester, Massachusetts, USA — September 8, 2026 — Xedition77 today shared the personal journey behind its new men's lifestyle apparel brand, revealing how decades of demanding trade work, a battle with chronic arthritis, and a transformative commitment to sobriety became the foundation for a new business venture targeting adult men nationwide. The story is one of reinvention, determination, and an unflinching honesty that defines both the founder and the brand itself.
For more than four decades, founder Frank Arangio worked grueling jobs in drywall installation, automotive repair, and various other physically demanding trades. The work was honest and hard, but it came at a steep cost. Years of repetitive strain and heavy labor resulted in severe arthritis that eventually made continuing in the trades unsustainable. When a physician laid out the options plainly, the message was unmistakable. Stop breaking your body for others and start building something for yourself.
That medical reality became the catalyst for launching Xedition77. The brand emerged from a simple observation about what was missing in the men's lifestyle apparel market. Arangio saw an opportunity to build a direct-to-consumer brand rooted in authenticity, resilience, and the values of hard-working men who have lived through real challenges. Xedition77 stepped into that space with a product line that combines bold design sensibility with a message rooted in lived experience.
The founder's personal sobriety journey adds a layer of depth to the brand's identity. Five years of clean living produced a remarkable turnaround, unlocking creativity, business acumen, and drive that had been dormant for decades. The accomplishments of those five years far exceeded anything achieved in the previous forty-five. That arc of transformation is central to the brand's ethos and to the story Arangio wants to share with other men who may be looking for a second act of their own.
The product line is designed exclusively for adult men. The collection includes apparel and accessories that feature distinctive graphics and messaging, designed to be worn confidently in everyday settings. The quality of materials and the attention to design details set Xedition77 apart from novelty products in the lifestyle apparel space.
Xedition77 operates exclusively through its online storefront, giving customers across the country convenient access to the full catalog. The direct-to-consumer approach allows the brand to maintain hands-on quality oversight and build a direct relationship with its customer base. Social media channels serve as active platforms for community building, product announcements, and engagement with fans of the brand.
The company's values extend beyond commerce. Xedition77 maintains a deep respect for the men and women serving in the military, and the phrase God Bless Our Troops reflects a genuine sentiment that informs the company's culture. The brand speaks to men who value hard work, service, and the freedom to live life on their own terms.
Xedition77 plans to expand its product offerings in the months ahead while staying true to the raw, unfiltered voice that defines it and the founder story that gives it meaning.
